A little background.
For almost a year, we have been hard at work rebuilding fotoClient from the ground up. Today, we are thrilled to share with you what we’ve built.
I first built fotoClient to help me with my own photography business. As my business grew, I was suffering the growing pains, spending more time managing the business than actually being creative. I quickly realized I needed a solution to help me.
Today, the fotoClient community is made up of thousands of photography professionals in more than 100 countries. The feedback we receive actively directs our roadmap. Through listening to our community, we realized that our current platform has limitations that would make it difficult for us to build new features or implement improvements at the pace we wanted. After careful consideration, we decided our best option was to rebuild the product completely.The release of fotoClient 2.0 is a huge leap forward, and we think you’ll love it.
Faster, Improved User Experience and New Features.
fotoClient now looks amazing and consistent across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms. The mobile version and desktop version are now the same app, so switching between the two is seamless. We also did a full redesign, carefully considering everything from ease-of-use to, mobile usability, all through a purposefully minimalist style
The dashboards gives you a quick snapshot of your business. Now when you start your day, you quickly see what leads require your attention, events that are around the corner, tasks that need your immediate action and even the current standing of your annual income.
Redesigned Tasks Overview.
The Tasks overview page gives clarity on what to work on next and how long it will take. Tasks can now be attached to an event, lead, contact, or be a standalone item.
New feature: Create and Send Invoice.
Sending an invoice to get paid is probably the most important function in your business. This was one of our most requested features, and we’re so excited to be able to include it as part of this rollout.
New Feature: Reports.
Having useful and correct information is key in helping you make decisions that are crucial to the success of your business. We created reports to allow you to pull information from all of the data you enter into fotoClient.

Our goal at fotoClient is to help you capture more, which is why we decided to go beyond a quick polish and reconstruct the bones of the product. fotoClient is now even faster, mobile responsive, and with a redesign core, you will start seeing us implementing new features rapidly.
